Later, the actor confirmed that it was just a casual chat. Fashion is constantly in the news for all the tense secrecy shrouding it, where any piece of information leaked to the press (like a shot detail) turns up in print. The director is also worried that all this hype and unwanted attention could kill the film's chances at the box office, or worse, have a rival movie on the fashion industry come out before his.

Ms. Ranaut's boldness – basically, consenting to do this herself rather than a body double – is being seen by some people as brazen. However, Bhandarkar is determined to push ahead with filming, hoping for a grand, overwhelming reception unsullied by hype.
