Aamna Shariff can well be one of the most popular tv actresses of all times & not just in India but in neighboring Pakistan as well where she is no less a celebrity. In fact so much so that the Pakistanis passed off rumors of Aamna being of their own stock by passing her off as daughter of an Pakistani actress Babra Shariff. The hype didn't workout in her favor , the dreams of silver screen have been nipped in the bud (and not that she didn't try, she does have a film down south which she wont be much proud of). Nowadays except reruns of Kahin tu Hoga , Aamna has virtually disappeared off screen.
